Hi
We had company on Saturday and Saturday night. Little stinky butt was here and she wasn't too bad. Connie thought I wasn't too bad either. Shelby and I kind of bonded and we talked and she rocked me in the glider. She tried to get me to play kick ball with her like she does with Connie, but I couldn't kick it back. She wasn't real happy about that but she continued to play with me.
I was a good kitten. I didn't scratch her nor try to nip at her. Connie told her that I am a baby and that was when she started to rock me in the glider. I slept out in the porch just in case I wandered into the bedroom where she was. I thought about it so maybe that is why I was banished to the porch. That was ok. I had my food, litter box and Shadow to keep me company so I was warm.
All for now.

This and That
Hi
It is me Tigger again. Connie has started calling me Munchkin because my front legs are so short that I look like a little munchkin. That is ok - I like the name. I think it means she loves me.
Remington, I liked your story about the cold box. I have one in my kitchen too. I don't get anything out of it (on purpose anyway). I did try to get something out of another piece of equipment in the kitchen but it was too warm. I wanted to put my paws on this big flat thing that came down from it, but it was very warm. So, I just went on my way. I am not sure what came out of it - something sweet is all I know because I licked Connie's plate clean when she put it on the coffee table and headed to the bathroom.
I haven't been doing too much lately. I try to keep an eye on the goings and comings around here but there hasn't been too much of either. Connie had a cold and stayed home most of the weekend so we just cuddled either in bed or in what she calls the recliner. She has a slanket and I can cuddle up in that with her. It looks like a backwards bathrobe but is heavy like a blanket. It is also too warm for me. I like it cooler - must be because I was originally an outside cat and lived in the woodpile. I try to sneak outside when Shadow goes out, but I get caught and sent back. Anyway, it has been pretty cold out, but I heard it will get colder so maybe I don't want to become and outside cat again.
It is pretty nice in here. I have all the food I want and only have to chew on Connie's nose a couple of times in the morning to get her up to fill my bowl. She said I am becoming a good kitty because she can fill the bowl and I don't eat it all at once like I did when I first came in here. Maybe that is because I know Chance has her own bowl and food and won't take mine. I do take hers whenever I get the chance (no pun intended).
Well all for now. It is getting close to bedtime according to Connie. She said she has an early morning meeting tomorrow.

Hunting Season
Hi all,
I am not going hunting today. I can get in enough trouble just laying around the house!!!!! Connie started rearranging the living room last night and started sneezing - too much dust I thought. But, later on she decided it wasn't dust but a bug she picked up - said she got it at work from one of the guys. I sure am glad I don't work with her - she wasn't very happy. She said she had been very careful to wash her hands good, but maybe the germs flew from one office to another. I saw that on tv one day and it didn't look good. She said she is going to drown herself in orange juice, hot tea, hot tang and water. Hmmmm - none of that sounds like Tigger treats but I might just check them out anyway. We had company a couple of nights this week - Todd's new puppy, Harley. He is kind of cute and just my size if I puff myself up just a little bit. He wanted to play and we did the first night, but the second time he was out Connie leashed him and kept him beside her in the dining room. That was after she used this big machine that looked like the vacuum only has water in it. She said she was glad she had it right there handy. He ate a red color crayon and Connie said she found it on her floor but didn't want it back. She and Chloe didn't think it was very funny. I came around to play with him, but she wouldn't let him loose. Oh well. Maybe next time. I am going to stay away from her as much as possible this weekend as I don't want to get sick. All for now.
